Gambling: Season Two, Episode 2


You might be wondering the significance of the number 3,875. Well, settle down for a second and I'll tell you, hot shot. 3,875 is the number in American dollars I wagered a week ago on both college and NFL futures. let me start by saying that I don't really understand gambling very much. I've figured out that a team is -3 that means they are favored, but what about the negative numbers at the end of all of your bets? Take your first bet for example...griffin more combined yards than pryor(-105) What does that mean? I'm only asking because I think that I know my NFL and NBA and I wanna get in on the action one day.

All -105 means is that in order to win $100 I'd have to put up $105. Take the Packers bet for instance: They only have to go over 8.5 wins, but they're -200...which means that if I lose I owe my bookie $200
